i'm from Florida,USA and just came back from staying 6 weeks in Bangkok in a Thai community (i am not Thai) i lived with my Thai friend in his apartment and did not have any AC, bed, washer&dryer ) but it has made me a better person for it, know why? Even though they lived very basic lives, they were very happy and content because they choose that way of life so that they can SAVE MONEY..i think Americans need to follow their example and get out of debt (cut up all the credit cards)
